Ms. Olalere opened Ahinke’s Kitchen Ltd in 2019 located in Calgary Alberta which was nominated as the best African Restaurant by Avenue Magazine in 2020/ 2021 She was given the first – ever Ethnik Festival Award on showcasing cultural heritage on Afro Canadians Food – Jollof Rice War 2020 Since then, she shattered the glass ceiling by starting a social enterprise called ” Open Kitchen YYC” to support other immigrant food businesses through an entrepreneurship program in Calgary and surrounding areas. She is blazing her own trail through the culinary world and becoming the first in the immigrant community to create the “SUYA Naija Burger” the latest exclusive collaboration with Sammies Cafe which showcases her culture in a mainstream menu. Ahinke has produced a family cooking show! The maiden series, “Ahinke’s Cooking Show” was curated in line with the Open kitchen YYC vision, which is to showcase immigrant food and inspire harmony in homes with the first session “Daddy’s Recipe” with 5 episode is now on youtube and showcasing at 12 channels on Telus Optik TV, the second session “Mummy’s Recipe” set to air this October 2022 in partnership with STORYHIVE by TELUS Optik, City of Calgary, Calgary Art Development Program and many more community sponsors.

Claudius has worked as an entrepreneur since 1991 providing information Systems and technology solutions across various business segments in multiple countries including Canada, Denmark, Poland, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, Spain & USA.

With a passion for developing young black youths through education, culture, and sports, he is the leader of the Windsor Chapter of Black Boys Code and recently worked with other business owners to cooperate on black business ownership. His work with Black Boys Code earned him the WEtech Alliance award ‘Tech Mentor’ of the year 2021.

Claudius has experience working with international organizations including Intact Financial, Hewlett Packard, Accenture, DAF Trucks N.V, and Right Track Music software.

Claudius now owns his own computer software, PandaceaTM, www.pandacea.ca a health and safety, and compliance management software through his I.T. services company, Turaco Web.
Claudius currently serves as a board member of WEtech Alliance, with a strong drive to help the organization understand the needs, and work to deliver the goals and objectives black entrepreneurs in the local Windsor-Essex economy.

I came to Canada in June of 1973 and I was originally born in Tanzania, East Africa. I am a foreign Trained Nurse/ Midwife, mother of 4 and grandmother to two kids. I have been serving my community since my youth. In the past, I have been the President of the African Canadian Organization of Windsor (ACOW), as well as the President of W5, and current President of the African Women Association of Windsor. I serve and have served on over 20 committees around the Windsor-Essex community, and have been and currently still on the executive board of several associations. I’ve been a volunteer at W5 for 30 years, I’ve taught seniors and women English as a second language to those who did not qualify due to their status, as a few examples.

I have been the recipient of The Life Achievement Award by W5 (2021), Ontario Volunteer Governor General Award Medal,
